About Us
The Franklin Angus Fund was created to honor the legacy of Franklin, a remarkable pit bull who changed countless lives with his love and strength.
Franklin was saved from a rural Ohio pound in terrible condition, both physically and emotionally. He became our founder’s 13th foster dog, and ultimately, her only “foster fail”.
Franklin was a former fighting dog who had never known love. But his transformation was nothing short of miraculous. Adopted in 2006, Franklin became an ambassador for pit bulls everywhere, changing minds and hearts with his gentle spirit.
Franklin passed away in 2016, but his legacy lives on through the Franklin Angus Fund, which provides care grants to pit bulls in need, helping them find loving homes just like Franklin’s.
